The CAD images reflect the rumored changes coming with the Apple Watch Series 8 models. While the standard models are expected to have more or less the same design as the current models, the Apple Watch Pro will be larger with a flat display. Additionally, the CAD images also reveal the inclusion of an additional physical button on the left side. The new button potentially rests below three holes, which are likely to be speaker vents.
In addition, you can see the design change compared to the current mode. The display is flat and larger than the current models. The Digital Crown and side button rest in a new chassis that protrudes from the casing. Just a short while ago, it was suggested that the display on the Apple Watch Pro would likely be bigger than most wrists.
The Apple Watch Pro will primarily be aimed at athletes, and the larger display would provide room to display additional metrics, which is certainly useful. The Pro model will have a price tag between $900 and $1,000 and will sit at the top of the lineup. Apple will take center stage on Wednesday, September 7, to unveil the iPhone 14 series, the Apple Watch Series 8, and the new AirPods Pro. As of right now, these are all the details we know.
