Does The Nintendo eShop Still Work On The 3DS and WiiU?

This means that players won’t be able to make purchases on the Wii U and the 3DS. Along with this, Nintendo also confirmed that players won’t be able to download free demos as well.
It’s known that from August 29th, 2022, it also won’t be possible for players to add funds on the Wii U and 3DS via eShop cards. Download codes will still be redeemable until the end of March 2023. Switch owners can combine the balance of their Nintendo Account and Nintendo Network ID and can use the balance on Wii U and 3Ds until March 27th, 2023. After that, you can only use the balance on the Switch. The download of purchased games, DLCs, and software updates is not affected at all by the Nintendo eShop’s closure. This means that the online functions of games that have it should remain unaffected as well.
