Just a couple of days ago out of nowhere videocardz reported that Nvidia is likely to launch GeForce GTX 1630 which will likely compete with AMD Radeon RX 6400 as an entry-level budget video card in 2022. Now thanks to videocardz, almost all of GeForce GTX 1630 specs have been leaked and are being shared online. However, videocardz has specifically mentioned that all of these are 100% rumors and are to be taken with a grain of salt. Moreover, Nvidia themselves haven’t announced or denied anything yet regarding the upcoming rumored Nvidia GeForce GTX 1630 GPU.
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1630 Specifications:
According to videocardz, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1630 is based on a 12nm Turing TU117-150 GPU which is a cutdown version of Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650’s TU117-300. Nvidia GeForce GTX 1630 is very likely to ship with 512 Cuda Cores and a 64-bit Memory Bus, which is exactly half of Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650. The 4 GB GDDR6 memory clocked at 12 Gbps will have an estimated bandwidth of 96GB/s compared to its big brother’s 192GB/s. It will also have a 75W TDP. Nvidia GeForce GTX 1630 will also come with a surprisingly higher 1800mhz boost clock.
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1630 Release Date:
Although the card isn’t very powerful, it will fill the gap as an entry-level low-end GPU and will most likely go head to head and will trade blows with AMD Radeon RX 6400. Nvidia is set to launch Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 on March 31st, 2022.
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1630 Price:
Since we haven’t received any official confirmation from Nvidia about Nvidia GeForce GTX 1630 or its alleged pricing, we can assume that it will definitely cost below $149, as Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 official MSRP is $149.
