Pokémon Scarlet And Violet

Nintendo announced a special Nintendo Switch edition for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet just recently. The console will be a Nintendo Switch OLED model with a red and purple design celebrating these new Pokémon games. It will be available for purchase on November 4th, just a few weeks before Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s November 18th launch date.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are the new set of Pokémon games coming to Nintendo Switch. Today, The Pokémon Company also shared three new Pokémon coming to the game, they are Armarouge, Ceruledge, and Klawf. Along with the new Pokémon, The Pokémon Company showed off more of what we can expect from the next Pokémon adventure for the Nintendo Switch. One of the other cool new announcements made today was of a brand new Nintendo Switch model, which is themed after Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

The design of the Nintendo Switch looks pretty great. It includes purple and red Joy-Cons, each with a badge for the respective game. The back of the console has a design that looks like a bunch of Pokémon-themed stickers have been layered on top of each other, kind of like a school notebook. The dock of the Nintendo Switch contains two legendary Pokémon in the game: Koraidon and Myrmidon.

The new Nintendo Switch System OLED Model has been called the “Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Edition” by Nintendo. The new models will be available at select stores and will cost $359.99 which is $10 more than the standard Nintendo Switch OLED model, but the same price as the recently released Splatoon 3 Nintendo Switch hardware. One other thing that should be noted is that the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Edition Switch doesn’t include a copy of either game, meaning players will have to buy the games themselves.
