Splatoon 3 is almost here. To celebrate, Nintendo has confirmed that they’re hosting the first Splatfest World Premiere next Saturday. To participate, you will need to download the Splatfest World Premiere demo from the Nintendo eShop. You would be made aware that you won’t be able to launch the demo yet, but for now, you can pre-install it so you’re all ready when we reach the Splatoon 3 demo release date.

To download the demo, you’ll need to head to the Nintendo Switch eShop to download it from there. If you’ve already pre-ordered Splatoon 3, the demo should start downloading automatically the next time you power on your Nintendo Switch and connect it to the internet.
The Splatfest begins on 27th August, but the Splatoon 3 demo release date is 25th August, as of that date you’ll be able to hop in the demo. In the demo, you’ll be able to experience some of Splatoon 3’s tutorials as well as be able to practice your skills. You’ll also be allowed to explore the city of Splatsville, along with being able to pick your team. So far it’s not confirmed how long the demo will be up for, but it may be up till the Splatoon 3 release date.
The Splatoon 3 release date is 9th September 2022. Splatoon 3 will launch for the Nintendo Switch exclusively.
