Valorant Chamber Nerf in 5.03, according to new info. Ever since he was added to the game in November 2021, Vincent Fabron, also known as Chamber, caused quite a commotion in the Valorant community.
Soon after his release, it seemed as though he was the new primary operator agent, overtaking Jett. His teleportation abilities, along with the weapon Tour De Force, were the cause of a lot of people making Chamber their new main. He was a great agent and even in losing situations, players could turn the round in their favor with him.
With Valorant’s 4.09 patch, a few changes were made to Chamber’s Trademark. Their number was decreased from 2 to 1, along with the price and audio range being increased. Although this did do some damage to the agent, overall Chamber stayed as the player’s go-to agent. He was efficient, and this quality put him above the other agents for a lot of people.
It seemed a lot of players, professional as well as casual, liked Chamber. If you’ve played Valorant at all in the past few months, every match you entered was bound to have a Chamber in it, and with the opposite being very rare. A nerf seemed inevitable for Chamber and was confirmed on Reddit a while back. Recently, the PBE Patch Notes for Valorant Patch 5.03 has made it clear that Chamber will be nerfed.

The Chamber nerfs may be disappointing news to some players, while others may be overjoyed. Nevertheless, Chamber will be undergoing major changes. Will he still stay as some player’s favorite? Or will there be a new agent that players love after the nerfs? Who knows, we’ll find out once the Valorant Patch 5.03 drops on August 9th, 2022.
