The game seems to be Soulslike and was announced during the Xbox and Bethesda unveiling in June and will be released in 2023 for Xbox and PC and PlayStation. It will also be released on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass as well. Two of the minds behind the project are producers Fumihiko Yasuda, who worked on Nioh, and Masaaki Yamagiwa, who worked on Bloodborne. The game certainly looks familiar, as evidenced by its latest trailer.
The game is set in three Chinese kingdoms, all of which are infested by demons. The game also features martial arts-inspired swordplay. Combat has been said to feel fluid and graceful with its evasive spins and balletic leaps, and features some impressively animated summons and magic. For those looking to play just a tiny bit of the game, it has been confirmed that Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will also be playable at Tokyo Game Show 2022 at publisher Koei Tecmo’s booth.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will release in early 2023 for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
